每每看著被封為「地獄廚神」的英國名廚戈登拉姆齊(Gordon Ramsay)像變魔術般端出一道道令人口水直流的佳餚，心裏不禁滴咕：若虛擬味覺傳送技術能成真，該有多好！我們就可仿若置身戈登的廚房，盡情體驗美食的色、香、味。那麼，主廚是 chef 還是 chief 呢？下方說分明。
▍chief (adj) 主要的 = main/ leading (n) (部落)首領 / 最高領導人 = the head
▶ 例 1：不忠是離婚的主要原因之一。
