研究人員利用超聲波麥克風監聽紐約市的老鼠後，發現牠們與當地居民一樣擅長社交，甚至擁有獨特的「口音」。比如說，當上城區老鼠發現裝滿食物的垃圾袋後，牠們會發出長達數十秒且人耳難以聽見的「哨音」，召喚同伴前來共享盛宴。話說「口音」是 intonation 還是 accent 呢？下方說分明。



▍intonation (n) 語調（抑揚頓挫）
