文法講座 047：句型「…是值得的」：it pays to V原 / is worth / is worthy of / is worthwhile

1️⃣「做…是值得的」：It pays（paid）to 動詞原形。用不定詞（to 動詞原形）來補充說明虛主詞 it。
2️⃣「做…是值得的」：It is（was）worthwhile + to 動詞原形 / Ving
3️⃣「值得 / 價值…」：be worth + N / Ving / 數字
4️⃣「值得 …」：be worthy of + N，當中of 為介係詞，故後方需搭配名詞。
例：努力是值得的。因為天下沒有不勞而獲的事。每個成功的背後都是數不盡的辛苦付出。
✓ It pays to work hard because nothing comes easy. Behind every success are endless hours of plain hard work.
✓ It is worthwhile to work hard because nothing comes easy.
✓ It is worthwhile working hard because nothing comes easy.
例：為這些雞毛蒜皮的小事生氣值得嗎？
✓ Is it worthwhile to get angry over such trivial matters?
✓ Is it worthwhile getting angry over such trivial matters?
✓ Does it pay to get angry over such trivial matters?
例：墾丁國家公園值得一遊。
✓ National Park is worth visiting.
✓ National Park is worth a visit.
✓ National Park is worthy of a visit.
✓ Is it worthwhile to get angry over such trivial matters?
✓ Is it worthwhile getting angry over such trivial matters?
✓ Does it pay to get angry over such trivial matters?
例：墾丁國家公園值得一遊。

✓ National Park is worthy of a visit.
例：這件用3公斤的黃金打造而成的襯衫價值 250 萬美金。
✓ The shirt made with 3 Kgs of gold is worth $2,500,000.
✓ The shirt made with 3 Kgs of gold is worth $2,500,000.
➤注意：說明物品價值多少錢時，只能用 be worth + 數字。be worthy of 後方雖也是加名詞，但不可搭配「數字」。
例：Tom 愛吹牛。他不值得信任。
