這篇切入點極具巧思的作文,將法語學習連結到去非洲創設光電公司,可惜在寫作邏輯上,踩了幾個「邏輯跳躍地雷」和高分擦身而過。
🧱 寫作建築學
學測英文作文中「內容與組織」佔分高達 50% 以上。這意味著:即便文字平實,邏輯層次分明就能拿高分;反之,若論述鬆散、邏輯跳躍,再華麗的詞藻也難獲得閱卷老師的青睞。所以,寫英文作文時,務必先穩固結構(論點邏輯),再進行室內裝潢(詞彙文法)。

第一段
If I can master one foreign language, it will be French. The reason why I choose it is that it is widely used throughout Africa, 1️⃣ which is predicted to let the company there earn the fortune, especially electric engineering.
第二段
2️⃣ If I master French, first I would start my electric engineering business there. With its cheap labor, abundant solar and wind resources, vast tracts of land, and closeness to major markets, I could reduce much of my cost and thus 3️⃣ my company has more chance to thrive. 4️⃣ Stacks and stacks of money will go nowhere but into my pocket. 5️⃣ However, the purpose I start business there isn't just for my ambition in making a fortune, but increase the well-educated population there and make people in Africa have a better level life. 6️⃣ Electrical engineering requires high technique and high degree, which can attract elites around the world to Africa. 7️⃣ Therefore, basic facilities, sanitation system and educational institutions will all be constructed. Then the living level there will be improved. 8️⃣ That is, the poor can have right for studying and even have right for having a toilet at home.

開頭: 自身的電機專業、非洲的太陽能商機和創業夢是選修法文的動機。
轉折: 創立公司,累積財富後,重心從商業利益提升到社會責任。
因果: 落實企業回饋,帶動非洲教育、衛生、基礎建設的發展。
結論: 將學習外語的意義昇華為「重塑世界觀和與世界互動的方式 」。
➤細部調整,抓出邏輯地雷
1️⃣ 原句:預估非洲可讓那裏的公司賺大錢,尤其是電機
... in Africa, which is predicted to let the company there earn the fortune, especially electric engineering.
邏輯斷層:原句未說明「 學法文、非洲產業發展、電機專業」 之間有何關聯。
補斷層:大學將主修電機的我,看到非洲龐大的太陽能商機……
2️⃣ 原句:假如我精通法文,首先我會在非洲創立我的光電公司。
If I master French, first I would start my electric engineering business there.
邏輯斷層:非洲創業為什麼非得學法文?
敘事連貫:選法文為第二外語,因為法文是非洲20多個國家的官方語言 。精通法文,我就可順利在非洲拓展業務、與人往來。
4️⃣ 原句: 大把鈔票全進了我口袋。
Stacks and stacks of money will go nowhere but into my pocket.
邏輯斷層:這句語氣市儈,與下一句「提升非洲福祉」相互矛盾,建議刪除。
5️⃣ 原句:而是增加非洲當地受良好教育的人口,讓人們好好過生活。
... but increase the well-educated population there and make people in Africa have a better level life.
論述具體化:補上企業獲利後將如何擔起社會責任、改善當地人生活。可融入7️⃣提到的改善基礎設施、 衛生系統、 教育機構等細節。
6️⃣ 原句:電機工程需要高技術和高學位,這可吸引全球菁英到非洲。
Electrical engineering requires high technique and high degree, which can attract elites around the world to Africa.
邏輯斷層:從上一句「改善在地生活」跳到這一句「吸引全球菁英」,論點發散且語意不連貫, 建議刪除。
7️⃣ 原句:因此,將會興建基礎設施、衛生系統、教育機構。
Therefore, basic facilities, sanitation system and educational institutions will all be constructed.
邏輯斷層:興建基礎建設究竟是為了吸引菁英,還是企業發展後帶來的福祉?
去斷層:將 7️⃣ 併入第5️⃣ 句,當作實踐社會責任的具體細節 。
8️⃣ 原句:That is, the poor can have right for studying and even have right for having a toilet at home.
也就是說,窮人有上學和家裡有廁所的權利。
缺結論句:前面鋪陳了「非洲綠能商機」與「社會責任」等宏大格局,文末以「有廁所」作結,文章瞬間失去張力。
補強結論句:刪除8️⃣,將結論重新扣回「學法語」對自身及世界的影響,形成「前後呼應」的閉環。

句子順序對了,文章的「骨架」就穩了。 但是要從「邏輯通順」變成「行雲流水」,還差最後一步:長皮肉(文法與詞彙)。
