    讀書計畫範例(中文)

    從網路上取得資訊易如反掌,但資訊爆炸可能阻礙我們的學習。為取得正確資訊,我們必須培養穿過層層資訊迷宮,將重要訊息和不相干訊息區隔開來,並做出正確判斷的能力。分析、評估和整合能力成了我們在資訊叢林裡存活的必備條件。

    這股培養資訊素養的風潮吹進中小學,挑戰學校重新審思傳統教學模式,促使學校走向鼓勵學生探究問題,合作找出問題解答,進而利用多媒體呈現他們研究成果的新模式。然而,對許多中小學老師而言,從現今老師主導的課堂轉化成以學生為主體的課堂著實令人望而生畏。這種轉變在課堂裡可能引發許多棘手的問題,一部分是因為這種模式和實際教學環境不相容,另一部分則是因為老師和學生們都沒足夠時間適應他們的新角色—老師需蛻變成加速學生學習的人,而學生則得自我提升成為自發自動的學習者。
    第一、二段以最近很夯的「教改」議題為出發點,點出教改下,學校、老師和學生所面臨的困境,鋪陳我為何選擇上大學?又為何選擇申請教育系?以熱門時事切入,透露出我關心社會且具分析和批判力的特質。
    我希望可投入測試、研發及宣傳協助老師和學生順利轉換新角色的政策與課程。這也是我之所以申請進入政治大學教育系就讀的主要原因。教育系享負盛名的教育營隊、教學觀摩、教學實習和多元課程讓我可深入教育現場,進一步探索如何改革及重塑學校以符合學生需求,同時也讓我有機會熟悉如何統整多方提案,協助教育從業人員破除各年齡層的學習障礙。
    第三段點出為何選擇申請「政大」教育系?並說明進入大學後的目標。這些目標透露出,我想為當前教育困境解套的熱誠和強烈企圖心。 
    若有幸可進入教育系就讀,我將繼續實踐我的信念。我會跳脫既定思考框架,勇敢追夢。給自己充足的時間勤做反思和創新。此外,為了有效率地達成手邊的任務,我會努力募集志同道合的夥伴,集思廣益。最後,若有人問我我從事哪一行,我會這麼回答:今天我是個教育工作者,而明天我將變得更棒。
    第四段說明上大學後做學問的態度。同時表明有遠景、勇於創新、既有領導特質,也擅長團隊合作的特質。 
    滿懷熱情地踏上人生下一階段的我,期盼有機會可進入教育系發展專業,擴大視野。

    讀書計畫範例(英文)

    Obtaining information on the Superhighway of the Internet is easy, but the information explosion could represent a serious obstacle to knowledge acquisition. To achieve correct information, we must be able to navigate through the labyrinth of information, distinguish the important from the irrelevant, and make critical value judgments. Therefore, the skills of analysis, evaluation, and synthesis are what we need to survive in the Information Jungle.

    This trend of becoming information literate also challenges schools to rethink their traditional instructional models, to move to a model of inquiry-based learning where students collaboratively organize their research to offer original solutions, and communicate their findings using a variety of media. Yet, to most teachers, shifting from the current teacher-centered classroom to a student-based one is a daunting task. The change proposed may cause conflicts in their classrooms, partly because it’s incompatible with the reality of their teaching contexts and partly because teachers as well as students have not had enough time to adjust to their new roles — the teacher as a facilitator and the student as an active learner.

    I hope to dedicate myself to testing, developing and ultimately promulgating policies and curriculum that help both teachers and students make a smooth transition to their new roles. It is for this reason that I am applying to the Department of Education at National Chengchi University. Your highly respected undergraduate program will equip me with what I need to be a successful education leader. The comprehensive courses offered allow me to further explore how to ensure that schools are reformed and restructured to welcome all students and how to help educators remove barriers to learning at all ages by coordinating multiple initiatives.
    If I am admitted to your program, there are a few tenets that I have decided to carry out. First of all, think outside of the box and dream big. Give myself plenty of time to reflect and innovate. Additionally, in order to complete tasks at hand efficiently, it’s important to form partnerships. Finally, to anyone that asks what I do, the answer is I am an educator and tomorrow I hope to be a better one.

    I look forward to an opportunity to develop my expertise and broaden my perspectives at your school and am eager to embark on this next stage of my life.
