身處亂世，可以靠「直覺」來行事嗎？研究指出，我們的直覺有一部分是演化而來的本能，而另一部分則是從過往經驗所習得的成果。因此，有些時候，「直覺」秒反應，確實比慎思更為準確。比如說，西洋棋高手之所以能在轉瞬間巧妙調動殘棋來逆轉勝，或老練的消防員可以本能地迴避危險的火場路徑，憑藉的就是所謂的「專家直覺」。話說「直覺」是 indistinct 還是 instinct 呢？下方說分明。

▍instinct (n) 本能反應
▶ 例 1：鳥類的遷徙、獅子的狩獵行為，或狗媽媽照顧幼犬都是動物本能的例子。
