瑞士聖加侖市推動長者非正式照護多年，透過「時間銀行」，媒合住處相近者，實踐「初老」照顧「老老」。時間銀行的照護服務分為 7 項，包含購物、備餐共餐、休閒陪伴、陪同外出搭車赴約、安寧陪伴、手工、行政服務等。初老者照顧老老者所累積的時數，日後自身有需求時就可兌換使用。這種互助互信的照護模式演繹了超高齡社會的一種平價解方。話說「非正式的」是 informed、informative 還是 informal 呢？下方說分明。
