文法講座 026：連綴動詞

連綴動詞和「感覺」、「五官」及「轉變」有關，常見的連綴動詞共九個，feel (感覺起來)、look (看起來)、smell (聞起來)、taste (嚐起來)、sound (聽起來)、get / become / turn / grow (變成)。

▍連綴動詞用法如下

become 後面除了可加形容詞外，也可加上名詞。

例：這蛋糕聞起來及嚐起來如何？它聞起來香，嚐起來美味。
How does the cake smell and taste?
It smells good and tastes delicious.

 
例：這香水聞起來如何？它聞起來很特別，有新書的味道。
✓ How does the perfume smell? It smells special.
✓ What does the perfume smell like? It smells like a new book.

 
➤疑問詞「如何」how，問岀「形容詞」special。
➤疑問詞「像什麼」what…like，問岀「名詞」like a new book。

Ⓐ 選項：夜幕低垂，感覺空氣冰冰的。

連綴動詞 feel 後方可搭配「形容詞」或「like + 名詞」。

Ⓑ 選項：我姐姐看起來不怎麼開心。她冷冷地看著我。

連綴動詞 look (看起來) 後方可搭配「形容詞」或「like + 名詞」。加強動詞 look at (看著) ，應該用副詞 coldly。

本句正確寫法為：
✓ My sister doesn't look happy. She looks at me coldly.

Ⓒ 選項：她的房子看起來如何？看起來像座城堡。

like (介係詞像) 搭配疑問詞 what (什麼)。「像什麼」而非「像如何」。

Ⓓ 選項：打網球聽起來很有趣。

 
連綴動詞 sound 後方可搭配「形容詞」或「like + 名詞」。fun (樂趣) 為名詞，所
以得用 like fun。

這句寫法有兩種：

✓ Playing tennis sounds interesting.
✓ Playing tennis sounds like fun.
