文法講座二十六：連綴動詞

• 連綴動詞和「感覺」、「五官」及「轉變」有關，常見的連綴動詞共九個，feel (感覺起來)、look (看起來)、smell (聞起來)、taste (嚐起來)、sound (聽起來)、get / become / turn / grow (變成)。連綴動詞用法如下：



 become 後除了可加形容詞外，也可加上名詞。

例句：這蛋糕聞起來及嚐起來如何？它聞起來香，嚐起來美味。
How does the cake smell and taste?
It smells good and tastes delicious. 
例句：這香水聞起來如何？它聞起來很特別，有新書的味道。
How does the perfume smell? It smells special.
What does the perfume smell like? It smells like a new book. 
疑問詞「如何」how，問岀「形容詞」special。
疑問詞「像什麼」what …like，問岀「名詞」like a new book。





請選出正確句子：
A. As night falls, the air feels cold. 
B. My sister doesn't look happily, and she looks cold at me. 
C. How does her house look like? It looks like a castle. 
D. Playing tennis sounds fun.

A 選項，當夜幕低垂時，感覺空氣冰冰的。
連綴動詞 feel 後方可搭配「形容詞」或「like + 名詞」。

B 選項，我姐姐看起來不怎麼開心。她冷冷地看著我。
連綴動詞 look (看起來) 後方可搭配「形容詞」或「like + 名詞」。加強動詞「看著」，應用副詞 coldly。本句正確寫法為：
My sister doesn't look happy. She looks at me coldly.

C選項，她的房子看起來如何？看起來像座城堡。
like (介係詞；像) 應搭配疑問詞 what (什麼)，故應將句中的 how 改成 what。「像什麼」而不是「像如何」。

D選項，打網球聽起來很有趣。
連綴動詞 sound 後方可搭配「形容詞」或「like + 名詞」。fun (樂趣)為名詞，所
以得用 like fun結構。這句寫法有兩種：
Playing tennis sounds interesting. 
Playing tennis sounds like fun.
