▍late (adj) (adv) 遲到
▶ 例 1：昨天早上，我上學遲到。
I was late to school yesterday morning.
= I went to school late yesterday morning.

▍latest (adj) 最新的
▶ 例 1：我弟老是想要擁有最新的手機機型，而我對我那上市已五年的手機還是很滿意。

▍the latter (n) 後者
